About Bold Reuse:
Bold Reuse operates zero-waste reuse systems that eliminate the harmful environmental, social, and economic impacts of single-use packaging. We work with hospitality venues, restaurants, grocery stores, retail brands, and their customers to provide reusable packaging and the supporting logistics, warehousing, and washing services that enable it to be used and reused safely and sustainably. We currently are working with organizations like the Portland Trail Blazers, Oregon Convention Center, Imperfect Foods, and are expanding rapidly.
Position Details:
We are expanding our business to Seattle, Washington and are currently seeking an Operations Specialist who will be responsible for duties necessary for successful sanitation of reusables, as well as logistics and administrative activities. This is a critical role in the day-to-day operations that will contribute to the overall success of our service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about sustainability and looking to make a real impact in their community.
Responsibilities:
- Process reusables through the wash/sanitation, drying and repackaging steps following the Bold Reuse clean procedure
- Unload and load reusables into delivery van
- Drive delivery van to client locations
- Deliver clean reusables and pick up collected reusables from client locations
- Track sanitation and processing data utilizing Bold Reuse data systems
- Help keep facility clean and safe
- Bi-weekly 1:1 meetings with Operations Manager
Requirements:
- Must be able to work well with as part of a team
- Ability to communicate clearly, read/write/record data, and perform simple mathematical calculations
- Reliable; consistently at work and on time
- Able to carefully follow company policies and procedures
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs
- Experience working in food service or retail is a plus
Schedule:
Part-time, 17 - 20 hours total per week. We are looking for 3-4 continuous hours daily, Monday - Friday, anytime between 7 am - 7 pm. We can be flexible with shift start and end times. No weekend work.
Compensation:
$20.50/hour plus paid holidays and paid time off.
