A la Mode Pies, voted Seattle's "Best Pie Shop" since 2011 is looking to add a part-time barista/counter server to our West Seattle team. With two busy neighborhood cafes, A la Mode Pies is experiencing rapid growth, so employees have lots of flexibility to grow and learn new skills while working alongside a team of people who love what they do.
Morning, night and weekend shifts are required. For now, the West Seattle cafe closes at 9PM. Experience working in a fast-paced environment is preferred. The ideal candidate adores pie, chatting with customers, demonstrates strong communication skills, excellent customer service, solve problems quickly, keeps calm under pressure, and possesses a contagious positive attitude.
All staff receive a portion of daily tips (additional $5+ per hour), periodic wage increases, paid personal time off, a flexible schedule and lots of free pie. Advancement opportunities are available for born leaders who want more responsibility and health insurance.
