Requirements For The Position:
- Show up on time and as scheduled, with a positive attitude. We view this as the simplest way to be a respectful team member.
- Comfortable working in a fast pace environment and completing tasks with a sense of urgency
- This is a no brainer, but required to come to work clean! We work with food. Presentation of our food, shop, and ourselves is critical in providing a great guest experience.
- Are a quick learner - we don’t expect you to know how to make crumpets, but we’ll teach you and expect you to learn it!
- Ability to stand for 8+ hour days and occasionally lift heavy objects up to 50lbs
- Ability to work weekends
What You’ll Do:
You’ll progress through the various stations with the goal of learning all aspects of the shop within your first three months.
You will:
- Work the register
- Educate guest on our offerings of tea, coffee, and crumpets
- Prepare crumpets with various toppings
- Prepare coffee and espresso drinks
- Bake crumpets
- Clean dishes, and ensure the shop is tidy
- Open and close the shop
What You’ll Receive:
- Starting pay of $17.25/hour + tips (averages between $22-25/hr depending on shift)
