Experienced wood-fired pizza cook. Knows how to stretch dough by hand and cook it in the woodfired oven. It is a small family business and everyone wears many hats and helps each other out. You will also prep, wash dishes, and clean the kitchen/dishpit after service. Service is only 5 hours and this ensures you get a whole shift. On slower weekday nights when there are only 2 people on you will also help make salads and assemble cold appetizers. We are a small family owned and run wood-fired pizza restaurant on Vashon Island. Because it is so small, everyone helps everyone and does a lot of jobs but it is a fun environment that is usually relaxed but we all work our butts off when we get a rush. Most important thing is a good attitude, ability and willingness to see what needs to be done and do it. It sounds dumb, but we like to have fun. Yes, it’s work, but we like to make the best of it and enjoy ourselves while doing it.
