We are searching for a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our private dental practice. Our office hours are Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm. This position will play an important role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures as well as the hygienist. Duties include:
-Prepare and maintain the dental operatory by ensuring it is clean, organized, and equipped with necessary instruments.
-Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed while adhering to safety protocols.
-Monitor and record vital signs of patients prior to procedures.
-Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care, ensuring they understand treatment plans.
-Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment notes, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
-Perform sterilization of instruments and maintain aseptic techniques throughout all procedures.
Requirements: must have RDA license
