We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our friendly team in our newly remodeled office in Northgate. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of general dentistry practices and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing preventive dental care to our patients.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth using appropriate tools and techniques.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate medical records and document all treatments performed in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Assist in infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Collaborate with the dental team in four-handed dentistry to enhance patient comfort and efficiency during procedures.
Utilize EagleSoft software for scheduling, patient records management, and treatment planning.
Stay updated on medical terminology, coding practices, and advancements in dental hygiene.
Requirements
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Experience in a dental clinic setting preferred, with knowledge of general dentistry practices.
Familiarity with medical terminology, infection control protocols, and HIPAA compliance is essential.
Proficiency in using EagleSoft or similar dental software is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health needs.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
