Nathan Bird Family Dentistry is seeking a top notch hygienist to join our friendly & hard-working team for 1-4 days per week for a maternity leave opening. The opening will be a 3 month position starting approximately March 2nd, 2026. This is a great opportunity to work in one of the most highly regarded dental practices in the area. Candidate's work experience is less of a concern than being passionate in educating our patients and helping them improve their oral health as well as confidence in co-diagnosing periodontal disease and oral pathology with the dentist. We are happy to offer training or help if the candidate is new to hygiene. One doctor, 2 hygienists, 3 assistants and 1 front office in total. We are a busy practice with active re-care patients scheduled 6 months in advance. Hygienists will not be asked to see more than one patient per hour. We use Eaglesoft software, digital xrays, digital scanner, and digital photography.
We offer a truly enjoyable work culture, with long-term team members and a great doctor. We work Monday through Thursday, 8-5pm. This position could translate into a 1-2 day a week permanent position after the maternity leave is up.
