Our practice is seeking a part time registered dental hygienist who is passionate about periodontal treatment and maintenance. Our office has an established periodontal maintenance program. We are looking for someone who wants to sharpen their practical skills while increasing their knowledge in the management of periodontal disease. Our schedule is typically Tuesday(7-4) or Wednesday(7-4).
What you should know about our office:
Your operatory is newly renovated, and spacious with large windows that look out to our manicured garden with a flowing creek. The atmosphere is truly calm and peaceful.
You have a variety of instruments to choose from including a Newtron piezo or cavitron ultrasonic so you can perform at your best.
You have the option to use the Wand for gentle anesthetic delivery.
Initial or annual periodontal exams including full mouth probings are done by the periodontist, so you always have support in the diagnostic process.
You won’t be pulled away during our patients appointment with you. We value the time you have with our patients.
Our goal is to provide you with everything you need so you can relax and focus on what you love. Perio.
What we’re looking for in a hygienist:
You enjoy treating periodontal disease and are bored doing prophylaxis.
You are disappointed or shocked if you don’t see results after treatment.
You are experienced performing scaling and root planing.
You understand root morphology.
You are willing to learn how to better your clinical skills.
You have a calm, professional demeanor.
Your patients love the way you work and feel at ease.
