Overview:
Seeking a compassionate and committed female live-in caregiver for a
36-year-old woman with special care needs. The caregiver must be patient, encouraging, and focused on supporting independence. Must be willing to
work through the SAILS agency.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assistance with Activities of Daily Living including personal care and hygiene.
- Managing medications, transfers from bed to wheelchair.
- Grocery shopping, meal preparation, general housekeeping.
- Supporting routines, schedules, and transportation.
- Planning outings, engaging in relationship-building activities.
Requirements:
- English proficiency.
- US work authorization.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Patience, compassion, flexibility.
- Integrity, reliable, trustworthy, kind, clean and tidy.
- Enjoys engaging in conversation.
- Willing to accompany client to community events.
Compensation Package:
- $4000/month tax-free. (Payment provided through WA DSHS)
- Free housing and utilities.
- Food stipend.
- Health insurance.
- Time off: 16 hours M-F, alternate weekends, 2 weeks PTO, 9 holidays.
Training:
- HCA, CNA, LPN/RN certification preferred.
- Willing to train and certify the right candidate.
- Paid training provided through WA DSHS.
