HOME CARE SUPERVISOR MANAGER EDMONDS (SNOHOMISH COUNTY)

Job Title: Home Care Supervisor Manager Edmonds Snohomish County

Employment Type: Full Time or Part Time

Compensation: Starting at $28.50 per hour, depending on experience. Oportunity to become a partner with great perforamce

Under the supervision of the assigned IHC Supervisor III, the following tasks will be performed within the first 6 months of employment:

Conduct initial, 6-month, and annual client evaluations/home visits in accordance with policies and the Statement of Work.

Maintain regular communication with clients and manage client case files.

Assist in hiring and scheduling caregivers; supervise and evaluate their performance.

Help market caregiver services alongside Administrative Assistants.

Maintain a standby list of substitute caregivers and resolve complaints as directed by the regional manager.

Report and document workplace accidents per organizational policies.

Process electronic timekeeping for payroll and ensure compliance with Electronic Visit Verification.

Communicate with DSHS Case Management and clients as needed.

Participate in the IHC phone rotation program.

Corresponds and communicates as necessary with DSHS Case Management and clients;

Schedules Caregivers and assigns to clients;

Supervises Caregivers assigned to clients

Completes performance evaluations for Caregivers according to organizational policy;

Ability to cover some shifts in case of caregiver “no shows”

Satisfactorily pass criminal history and reference checks;

Position Requirements and Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent is required; some college preferred.

Must have the ability to pass criminal history and reference checks.

Valid/current driver’s license and auto insurance are required.

Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and cooperatively.

Proficient in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

Required Experience

At least 1 year of In Home Care or similar leadership experience required.

Experience providing services to the elderly and/or people with disabilities preferred.

Experience managing DSHS complaints and going through surveys

Knowledge and experience managing Electronic Visit Verification Software

Experience with Medicaid Billing.

Experience with Family Caregiver Support Program (FCSP)

Experience with Washington State Provider One (P1) payment system
