JOB TITLE: Housekeeper / Facility Aide
SHIFT: Monday - Friday
JOB SUMMARY:
The housekeeper/aide is responsible for cleaning, designated common areas, laundry duties, bathrooms, hallways, stairs, assisting with laundry, supply preparation and cart readiness. Duties include assisting home health aides and kitchen staff with general duties.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reports to manager
Responsible for daily housekeeping assigned tasks
Works as a team player
Computer literate
Relate to residents in a courteous, understanding and cooperative manner
Learn to know residents served; reporting behavior, physical, or emotional changes if resident appears off baseline, findings to nursing staff or administrator.
Check daily cleaning schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS/SPECIFICATIONS:
Enjoys working with special needs population.
Is able to handle education and training graciously.
Drug testing compliance, must be drug free
Dependable.
Well groomed.
Fast learner.
Enjoy working in a diverse environment.
