Seeking caregivers for IBM client. Prefer 2+ years of employment with comparable experience. Ideal candidate will be reliable, compassionate, have integrity and be a trusted companion. Excellent interpersonal skills and a sense of humor is preferred.
Client is age 60, 250 pounds, totally disabled, in a power wheelchair, and has full cognitive ability.
Requirements:
Must have CNA (or HCA/HCW) as well as a current CPR certification
Must have transportation to and from high - rise apartment in downtown Seattle (98101)
Must be familiar/comfortable with patient hoyer lift tasks
Must be able to safely lift 100 pounds
Must perform all six (6) standard ADLs
Meal preparation (3x/day)
Must be capable of driving the client to shopping, social commitments, and doctor appointments
Light housekeeping such as dusting, laundry, keeping kitchen clean, maintaining sanitary areas, etc.
Must pass background check prior to first day of employment
Must have current drivers license and active insurance
No smoking or recreational drug use
Day Shift: 7:00am - 5:00pm $30/hr
Night Shift: 5:00pm - 7:00am $300/night
Safe, underground parking will be validated
This is a W-2 position and only candidates that have the ability to have taxes withheld will be considered.
