I am looking for a LIVE-IN CAREGIVER for my 30 year old daughter. REQUIREMENTS:
Height = over 5'4 (for purposes of lifting her into and out of her wheelchair).
Ability to lift her properly between her bed and wheelchair (she weighs 70-74lbs)
FEMALES ONLY (for my daughter's feeling of safety)
Comfortable with dogs (No dogs in the house, but I bring my 2 with me when I come)
Valid Drivers license
Pass a background check

$3200-$3400 / month

You will get a good size fully furnished bedroom with it's own bathroom
TIME OFF:
Mon-Fri 7am - 3pm OFF
2 weekends a month,
2 weeks a year
4 paid holidays a year
My daughter has spastic quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. She also has a metal rod in her back due to severe scoliosis (which is why you MUST be able to lift her properly, not just lift her). She suffers from anxiety due to past trauma and pain, which she takes meds for and goes to therapy for. She is kind, funny and smart. Your shift would start after the daytime caregiver leaves at 3pm, or at 5:45pm when Devin gets off work. The days where she works, you pick her up and bring her home, make her something to eat, do some housework, and then give her nighttime meds and put her to bed. On days she doesn't work, you would need to be ready to start your shift at 3pm, and just hang out with her, make her dinner, do housework if needed, make dinner, give nighttime meds, and put her into bed. On weekends where you work, you just hang out with her, take her places if she wants, do housework if needed, and cook for her.
She often wakes up in the middle of the night at least once and sometimes requires pain meds, or just changing positions.
