We are looking for a live-in caregiver for my 30 yo daughter with Cerebral Palsy.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Ability to lift 70lbs
2. Must be able to pass a background check
3. Fluent in English both written and verbal
4. No or minimal allergies to pet hair
5. Must love dogs
6. Ability to handle daily incontinence
7. Must be able to do minor cooking
8. Some emotional intelligence
9. Patience
10. Kindness
11. Compassion
12. Valid WA State Driver's License
TASKS
1. Change Diapers
2. Prepare meals (nothing fancy)
3. Chronic Pain Management including gently massaging her legs and back (with instruction)
4. Perform general household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and taking out the trash
5. Help her with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living)
6. Repositioning her - Sometimes at night
7. Help her with stress/emotional management
8. Bowel Management
9. Transition from bed to wheelchair and back
10. Drive her to work, appointments, meetups with friends
COMPENSATION
1. $3,500 pre-tax monthly wage
2. Free Rent (approximate value $1300/month)
3. Free Utilities (Water/Sewer/Garbage/Internet/Electric) - Approx. Value $300/month
