We are looking for a live-in caregiver or caregiver couple for our elderly parents who require 24/7 available care.
Our father is physically healthy but has advancing dementia. He needs help with many daily tasks including changing and showering, and he needs to be consistently monitored.
Our mother is mentally healthy but struggles with mobility. She needs help running the house.
While both need consistent help, both also appreciate having their personal space, for example when watching TV or other activities.
The house is about 15 minutes north of downtown Seattle and has a clean and spacious mother-in-law apartment.
We are looking to hire the primary caregiver or caregiving couple, but we can also have additional regular separate daytime help so you alone are not 24/7.

-Requirements:
Must have experience working with those with dementia and with late stage life care, ideally in an unsupported location where you are the primary caregiver. The goal is for our parents to remain living in the house for the rest of their lives.
Must be legally allowed to work in the US.
Must have strong references and be able to pass a background check.
Must be able to try work on a part time trial basis (which could be just some hours nights or weekends if that is easiest for you) so we can test mutual fit together. We can have a very flexible schedule to accommodate this. Full time work would not begin until we have some part time mutual trial. Mutual fit is important, we want to make sure we want to work with each other :)
