We are seeking a back office assistant/medical assistant for medical clinic downtown/First Hill Seattle office. No certification required - will train someone who has an interest in a long term career as a medical assistant or who plans to eventually go into another medical career.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
We prefer some experience in a medical setting or a desire to go into a medical career. We are looking for someone who fits one of the two following categories:
1. Looking for a long term career as a medical assistant
2. Those who need to spend a couple years gaining experience in a medical clinic before proceeding on to schooling in medicine, nursing, PA and other medical careers.

Medical assistant duties include:
explaining treatment helping with procedures, taking x-rays, rooming patients and helping with back office duties and phone work
Also includes some receptionist duties including answering the phone and checking in patients.
Training and qualifications
No experience required but must have a great work ethic and have interest in a long-term medical career.
Must be neat and well groomed and have a courteous, pleasant manner.
Medical assistants must be able to put patients at ease and explain physicians' instructions.
Our office atmosphere is fast-paced and dynamic. We offer very competitive pay and benefits. Hours for this position are Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
