Job Summary: You will play a vital role in evaluating and treating patients with a variety of conditions including orthopedic, post surgical, pelvic health, pregnancy and postpartum recovery, as well other women's health concerns. You will work closely with patients to create individualized treatment plans to enhance their overall well-being, focusing on pain management, rehabilitation, and preventive care.
You will work closely with our owner Dr. Ali during your ramp up period and then take over the clinic case load as she takes maternity leave in January. Our goal is to bring you up to full time (32 client hours) by this time.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with pelvic floor dysfunction, pregnancy-related conditions, postpartum issues, incontinence, and other women's health-related concerns.
Provide specialized therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education.
Collaborate with healthcare providers (OB-GYNs, urologists, etc.) to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Educate and empower patients about preventive measures, pain management, and lifestyle modifications to improve their long-term health outcomes.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with our Physical Therapy Assistant.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
Specialized training in Women's Health/Pelvic Health Physical Therapy
Experience in treating pelvic floor dysfunction, pre/postnatal care, incontinence, or other related conditions as well as generic orthopedic conditions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients and team members.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience working in women's health or pelvic floor rehabilitation.
2+ years in orthopedic care
