This is a independent contract role for a Recreational Therapist in Bellevue, WA. The Recreational Therapist will be responsible for implementing recreational therapy programs, conducting therapeutic activities, documenting progress notes, and utilizing social therapy techniques to enhance the well-being of the individual.
The client is a 27yr old african male. I am looking for someone to spend a couple hours a week doing activities that are fun for the disabled client. Clients limitations are communication/severe global aphasia.

Qualifications
Recreation and Therapeutic Recreation skills
CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) certification
Experience in documenting progress notes
Proficiency in Art Therapy techniques
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy or related field
