Sterilization Technician
Job Summary: training position Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our dental practice. The Sterilization Technician will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sterilization of dental instruments and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for our patients.
Duties:
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures
- Assist dental team with chairside duties as needed
- Maintain inventory of supplies and order as necessary
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain compliance with all safety regulations
- Perform routine maintenance on dental equipment
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a dental or medical setting preferred
- Knowledge of anatomy and dental procedures
- Familiarity with dental software such as Open Dental
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
