The Hospital Attendant is responsible for:
- Cleaning and sanitizing workspaces such as exam rooms, surgery suite, and treatment rooms
- Cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments
- Preparing surgery areas for procedures and cleaning the area after surgery
- Maintaining clean and comfortable patient accommodations
- Maintaining floors and walls in a sanitary state
- Assisting the veterinary technicians and veterinarians with patient care as directed
Necessary skills:
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Takes pride in their work
- Loves cleaning!
- Written and verbal English
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 40 lbs
- Sitting, standing, and kneeling repeatedly during a shift
- Comfortable with cleansing and sanitizing after animal care (animal bodily fluids, etc)
- Comfortable witnessing veterinary care and surgery
- Reliable transportation
- Availability Monday-Friday
