West Seattle vocational counseling firm is seeking a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor Intern. This is a paid, full-time position. Our counselors work with individuals who have had work injuries. The VRC Intern will provide support to vocational counselors by reviewing claim files, conducting occupational and educational research, writing reports, and following up on case progress.
During the two-year internship period, you will be training to complete the Certified Disability Management Certification (CDMS) and become registered as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor.

In order to be considered a good fit for our team you will need to have the following:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, any discipline considered (e.g. Psychology, Social Sciences, Business).
- Professional presence and work ethic.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to write effectively with accurate grammar.
- Word processing skills and PC skills.
- Customer service attitude with excellent phone presentation.
- Availability to work a full-time, regular weekly in-office schedule and have your own personal vehicle. - - The State of Washington will conduct a background check.
