Position Summary
Provide valet parking and front door service for patients, visitors and guests. Proactively approach, greet and acknowledge all customers in a friendly, professional manner and provide quick, responsive valet customer service. Must know how to drive Manuel and Automatic.
Essential Duties
Must be able to perform the following duties but are not limited to:
Ensuring each guest receives friendly outstanding service but proactively greeting and thanking each guest.
Operate, park and retrieve all vehicles in a safe manner.
Obeying all traffic laws, facility policies and applicable pedestrian regulations.
Maintaining established policies, procedure, objectives, quality assurance, safety and environmental and infection control.
Inform guests of parking options, relevant services, and house of operation including directions for after hours key retrieval.
Assist in maintaining the front driveway by keeping it congestion free and performing correct traffic control, monitoring illegal parking and immediately storing vehicles.
Assist guests in and out of their vehicles, opening and closing car doors, and retrieving/storing wheelchairs/strollers and assisting with their belongings.
Keep work areas clean of debris.
Follow established dress code and hygiene guidelines, including proper identification.
Alert suspicious activity to security.
Prepare and maintain valet logs and other required data.
Perform other required duties as well.
Minimum Requirements
Ability to maintain confidentiality for all customers
Ability to calculate and balance numbers rapidly and accurately
Must have valid WA state driver license
Must meet ABM Motor Vehicle Report criteria
Must be 21 years of age or older
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission
Ability to work out side in the elements; Exposure to temperature changes including hot, cold, wet, humid and windy conditions
Good communication skills
Ability to stand continuously for long periods of time
