We are seeking a Grounds Crew Associate to join our team at Sunset Hills Memorial Park located in Bellevue, WA.
The associate's activities will primarily include:
Maintaining the overall appearance of the cemetery and funeral home
Identifying and excavating grave spaces according to company standards
Set outer burial containers & set up graveside committal services including tents, chairs, casket lowering devices, & artificial grasses.
Assemble & install flush memorials
Conduct interments with the utmost respect, dignity, and compassion
Qualifications:
Prefer Backhoe / Tractor Experience, but not required.
Must be able to operate small engines, hand tools (ie. chainsaws, blowers, trimmers, etc.)
Must be a team player by effectively working with others to accomplish tasks
Requires the ability to show respect and sensitivity toward client families while working in a physically demanding environment
Must be able to lift 100lbs
Must be able to work some weekends
Must be able to pass a drug test and background investigation
Must be 18 years of age or older and hold a valid Washington State driver's license with a decent driving record
Currently this shift is 8am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday with 1- 2 Saturdays per month.
