Chute labor/apprentice for thriving chute company.
JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
Hand offload of material off semi-truck.
Move material with hand truck into buildings/ up the stairs.
Help with installation of chute material.
Help repairs of chutes(you will be taught welding skills).
Able to follow instructions and work independently.
Able to work in heights and shaft without issues.
Able to lift more then 50#
Able to perform work off ladders.
Able to get certifications if required.(forklift, fall protection, lifts)
Able to speak English and understand.
Dependable, responsible, and reliable.
Able to work and get along with others.
Courteous and polite (will be working on job sites around customers and other contractors.)
Mechanical aptitude with sound reasoning. Quick learners will find plenty of opportunity for growth with our company.
Positive attitude that contributes to a positive work environment.
Dependable transportation.
Must have Washington State driver’s license.
Must be able to read tape measure.
Must be able to operate hand tools.(drill, grinder, impact drivers, band saw, rotator hammer, ect.)
high visible clothing, work pants, steel toe boots, hard hat. standard PPE required. gloves, safety glasses and fall protection provide
Also must be able to work out of state jobs with per diem (Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Colorado, Wyoming) Northwest Areas.
shop is located in Auburn/Federal Way, 364th and Military rd
work hours:
40-50+ plus hours week, 4 days @ 10 hour per day, with possible overtime
1/2 paid Medical, paid time off, paid sick leave, paid holidays, after 90 days
