We focus primarily on residential service, maintenance, and installation, with only minor involvement in light commercial projects.
Role and Compensation:
We are seeking a highly experienced, Residential HVAC Technician with a proven track record (5+ years).
This is a performance-based role that directly rewards top-tier technical proficiency, efficiency, and excellent customer-focused sales recommendations.

Core Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of residential HVAC services, acting as both a top-tier technician and a trusted consultant to our customers.
Diagnosis & Troubleshooting: Expertly troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including gas furnaces, electric furnaces, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, and standard AC units.
Installation & Compliance: Perform residential system installations, startups, and changeouts. Responsible for ensuring work complies with all manufacturer specifications, local codes, and Noise & Building Code Compliance (especially for outdoor units).
Sales & Consulting: Confidently and professionally communicate technical findings to homeowners, offering transparent recommendations and system replacement options that match their needs and budget, earning a commission on equipment sales.
Customer Service & Interaction: Build strong, trust-based relationships with homeowners, ensuring a professional, polite, and clean in-home service experience.
Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and neat digital service records and work orders using company-provided mobile technology (e.g., iPad/tablet).
Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and regulatory codes.
Required Qualifications & Licensing:
Experience: Minimum five (5) years of verifiable, hands-on experience as an HVAC Technician, heavily focused on residential service.
Driver License: Valid Washington State Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
EPA Section 608 Certification (Required): Federal requirement to handle refrigerants. EPA Universal Certification is highly preferred.
WA Electrical License (Required): Must possess a current 06A or 06B Specialty Electrician License for performing electrical connections on HVAC systems.
Seattle Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic License: Required for all HVAC/refrigeration work performed within Seattle city limits.
Skills: Exceptional ability in diagnostics, technical repair, residential installation, customer relationship building, and consultative sales.
