General Foreman

R.W. Excavation, LLC is seeking a qualified applicant for the position of General Foreman to join our team. The General Foreman will oversee excavation and demolition projects, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.

Overview:

Supervise and coordinate excavation and demolition crews on job sites.

Plan and organize project schedules, including assigning tasks and allocating resources effectively.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Conduct regular inspections of work sites to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.

Train and mentor crew members to maintain a high level of performance and productivity.

Coordinate actions with team members, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure smooth project execution.

Actively listen to team members and stakeholders, addressing concerns and providing guidance as needed.

Monitor performance and assess progress to identify areas for improvement and take corrective action.

Speak effectively with team members, clients, and subcontractors to convey information and ensure project requirements are met.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a foreman or supervisor in the excavation and demolition industry.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Extensive knowledge of excavation and demolition techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.

Knowledge of building and construction materials, methods, and tools.

Understanding of administration and management principles for effective project coordination.

Familiarity with engineering and technology principles for practical application.

Proficiency in the English language, including grammar and composition.

Customer and personal service orientation with a focus on meeting quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
