Job Description:
Ability to work effectively and efficiently with others while erecting metal buildings. Crew member will be expected to participate in all aspects of erecting metal buildings, which includes steel assembling, wall & roof sheeting, trim work, and installing insulation systems and purlins.
Responsibilities:
Follow all health and safety regulations when working and operating equipment.
Erect structural steel members, bar joints and decking
Erect pre-engineered metal buildings including structural steel, wall panels, and standing seam roof panels
Operate boom and scissor lifts
Read blueprints to determine layout, quantities, and size of materials
To excel in this role, an individual will:
Have previous experience on construction sites
Enjoy working outside, in all weather conditions
Be able to lift and carry 50 to 75 pounds
Be able to lift, maneuver and climb varied size ladders, including 30 ft expandable ladders and follow all ladder and roof safety compliance measures.
Be comfortable with working at heights on aerial platforms and on top of roofs.
Be willing to wear PPE at all times
Be consistent and dependable
Have reliable transportation to and from job-sites.
Own your own tools
Be familiar with hand tools and power tools
Be responsible, accountable, dedicated, punctual, professional and dependable.
