Position Overview
As a Roving Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining and improving the properties under our care. You’ll be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and ensuring the smooth operation of building systems, equipment, and facilities. This role supports the Maintenance Lead and contributes directly to the safety, functionality, and appearance of our communities.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain clean, safe, and attractive common areas, including pools, laundry rooms, clubhouses, and parking lots
Perform routine inspections of all common areas and building systems
Manage inventory and maintain organized shop, work, and storage areas
Review and evaluate vendor work for quality and compliance
Maintain accurate time, work order, and inspection records
Prepare vacant units for new tenants, including painting and repairs
Perform repairs on masonry, woodwork, furnishings, and general building structures
Troubleshoot and repair electrical appliances, indoor plumbing, and other building systems
Provide general upkeep such as painting, pressure washing, and debris removal
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, Fair Housing Laws, and company safety standards
Order approved parts and materials from authorized vendors
Keep maintenance areas secure, clean, and well-organized at all times
Monitor building systems for safety issues—especially electrical and fire hazards—and report concerns immediately
Perform other duties as assigned by the Community Manager or Maintenance Lead
Qualifications
Proven experience in property or facility maintenance
Strong knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC preferred
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
