Living Dreams Yarn, an established family-owned online retail company specializing in yarn and fiber products, is seeking a diligent and dependable team member for PRODUCT PACKAGING to join our dynamic team in Rainier, WA.
This part-time position is perfect for Moms and all other individuals seeking flexibility and long-term stability. We particularly encourage applications from locals (Rainier, Yelm, Tumwater, Tenino, Lacey) within a 30-minute drive from Rainier.
Your primary responsibility will be product packaging from home as well as in our vibrant studio/office/warehouse space. With diverse tasks ranging from sorting, stashing, label printing, tracking production and working with our soft, light weight, colorful products each day brings something new.
Key Qualifications:
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to learn quickly
Fast, efficient, accurate and able to create your own production workflow
Physical agility for product handling and light lifting
Strong communication skills for a team-based environment
Clean, smoke-free work space for piece work from home
Reliable transportation and room for materials to pick up/drop off
Previous knowledge of fiber arts like knitting, crochet or felting is appreciated but not a requirement
Previous knowledge of order fulfillment, warehouse logistics or ecommerce experience is appreciated but not a requirement
Flexible Working Hours:
We operate Mondays through Thursdays from 9am to 3pm.
You will be trained in our studio (1-2 days per week), with the opportunity for more days as you familiarize yourself with our operations. Once you have basic understanding of the tasks, we will set you up with products to be packaged from your home for increased earnings. Your speed, agility and efficiency will determine how much packaging we send home with you. Expect to work both: from home during hours of your choosing as well as 1-2 week days in our studio from 9am to 3pm.

Spring and summer are our slower season, in fall and winter we are very busy and will require more packaging.
