Kitsap Regional Library (KRL) is hiring Substitute Custodians to clean at several KRL locations. This position is responsible for cleaning services that provide a clean, safe, attractive, and healthy place for our patrons and staff. The typical custodial shift is from 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM and may be at any Library branch. This position reports to the Facilities Supervisor.
This is a part-time, non-exempt substitute position with no guarantee of hours and a monthly max of 69 hours. The schedule is expected to be 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM.
A high school diploma or GED, plus two years of custodial experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the requirements of the job is required. All hired candidates must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
The compensation range for this position is $20.45—21.07 per hour. Offers will be determined based on required and relevant experience and in alignment with internal equity. All on-call and substitute positions are eligible for participation in the Employee Assistance Program and Washington State Paid Sick Leave.
