Landscape/ Seasonal Maintenance Crew - The Garden Guy & Co.
Wages: $18 - $20 Starting DOE with room to advance
Schedule: M-TH w/ a 4/10 work week. No Weekends

The Garden Guy & Co. currently has 2 fulltime positions open.
We are a small design, build, & seasonal maintenance company based out of Monroe with an organic approach to our gardens. We have been in business since 2003, are a very stable company, and only run one crew with the owner on-site for every job. We have a strong commitment to providing a positive work environment, maintaining good relationships with our clients, and taking care of our employees.
Most of our work is on the Eastside and in Seattle, but occasionally here in the Monroe area, and you always have the option of meeting at the job site. The right person should be reliable and dependable, able to communicate with courtesy to clients and coworkers, and able to take direction.
Here are some of the areas we would like you to have experience in:
⢠Soil prep and proper plant installation
⢠Basic PNW plant identification
⢠Prep and installation of paver and block walls
⢠Moving large amounts of material safely and efficiently
⢠Basic woodworking skills for building decks/fences/garden boxes
⢠Basic irrigation installation
⢠Familiarity with lighting a plus
⢠Maintenance skills - weeding/ edging/ blowing/ pruning. (We do not mow lawns)
⢠Ability to use small power equipment/ hand tools safely and efficiently
Here are some of our requirements:
⢠Must have reliable transportation (not the bus)
⢠Can work year-round in any weather - with a good attitude!
⢠Reliable in general - with excellent communication
⢠Must be on time and follow through with work commitments
⢠Ability to speak and understand English
⢠Non-smoking/ No drug use
⢠General lifting of at least 50 lbs
