J&D Machine and Gear Inc. is seeking a Shop Assistant to join our team. We are a job shop specializing in custom components, production, repair, and refurbishment. We support manufacturing, aerospace, fishing, construction, food, and other industries on projects of all sizes.
Full-Time, Monday – Friday, Overtime
Seeking applicants with the following skills:
Assist with prepping material, sawing, grinding, sanding, deburring, cleaning, shipping & receiving, disassembly and rebuild.
Responsible for general shop cleanup, machine and facility maintenance.
Must be able lift 50 lbs and be on your feet/knees for extended periods of time.
Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
The work is fast-paced and variable. We are a job shop that serves a wide-ranging customer base.
The shop Assistant position will have opportunities to learn CNC machining and manual machining if desired in the long term.
Benefits:
