Responsibilities:
-Drive assigned vehicle to and from job sites
-Operate various power construction and maintenance equipment used in sewers and septic systems
-Uses appropriate equipment and tools to identify, assess, and repair problems.
-Flushes and empties septic tanks; performs other services required to maintain or repair tank and system
-Cleans sewers and related structures including manholes, culverts, and catch basins
-Measures sites to be excavated and marks areas for digging
-Cleans and disinfects areas affected by sewer or septic stoppage
-Updates maps and site drawings as modifications are made
-Communicates with client about designated work and plans to proceed
-Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
-Must have a class A or B CDL with Tanker endorsement and medical card
-Knowledge and understanding of sewage and septic systems and repair
-Ability to safely and effectively operate all tools and equipment required for repair and maintenance
-Ability to communicate with office/dispatch
-Clean driving record
-Ability to pass drug screen
Bonus Preferred, but not Required
-King, Pierce or Thurston County certified OSM or Master Installer
-Bilingual spanish/english
-Excavator certified
