Project Manager

We are a well-established painting and construction company seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in painting and construction who can manage multiple crews and projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional quality, scheduling, and customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities

Ability to schedule and manage multiple crews simultaneously

Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met

Effectively manage crew members and recommend resources for each project

Identify, price, and process project change orders

Communicate clearly with both new and existing customers

Attend project meetings, scope reviews, and walk-throughs

Procure materials and equipment as needed

Read and interpret contracts, blueprints, and construction documents

Maintain accurate project plans and job costing throughout the life of each project

Monitor and control labor and materials to ensure profitability

Qualifications, Education & Experience

Minimum 3+ years of Project Management experience in the painting and construction field (required)

Previous painting experience required (commercial or residential)

Superintendent or shop experience is a plus but not mandatory

Strong computer skills and proficiency in blueprint reading

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Monitor and control projects through the administrative direction of on-site foremen to ensure timely, on-budget completion

Maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships

Excellent prioritization, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills

Detail-oriented, able to multitask and excel in a fast-paced environment

Ability to write clear, detailed reports

Clean driving record required

Skills and Abilities

Familiarity with commercial painting and coating contractor operations

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Self-motivated and a critical thinker

Ability to attend walk-throughs and accurately determine cost factors

Strong computer and mathematical skills with the ability to perform accurate analysis within deadlines

Compensation & Benefits

$35–$55 per hour or $65,000–$100,000 annually DOE
