Ranch Hand Position
Western Sky Equestrian Center, home to Western Sky Horsemanship, is hiring! We are looking for dedicated people with horse experience to add to our amazing team. The farm is home to lesson, training, and boarded horses. You would be part of the backbone of supporting a diverse, fun, and safety-oriented farm. Varied shift times available.
About you: highly motivated, reliable, possess clear communication skills, and have a positive attitude. Please be 18 or over, have reliable transportation, speak and understand English, and be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
The job: Feeding, leading horses to turnout and back, cleaning paddocks, scrubbing water buckets, and various other chores to keep the facility running smoothly and efficiently.
About us: Western Sky Equestrian Center is home to approximately 50 horses and has a large covered arena, outdoor arena, outdoor obstacle course, covered round pen, two barns, 11 stalls with runouts, and 22 pastures. We have a variety of people working on the farm, and do not discriminate based on race, gender, age, or sexual orientation. There is heavy lifting involved, as well as a lot of walking on uneven ground.
Wage: negotiable, DOE.
Employment: Full or Part-time available.
