Our Location: Our Seattle Fulfillment Center (SFC) is located in the heart of the Ikea Commercial District where we have 200,000 square feet of state of the art production and inventory. We maximize our facility with three shifts of production, five days per week. We enjoy a culturally diverse workforce and promote team orientated solutions to delight our customers. Job Vision: The Returns Clerk is responsible for filling customer needs and delivering them to the pick conveyor or the manifesting area in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security and productivity. This position may also operate material handling equipment on rare occasions. The Returns Clerk is responsible for the completeness of all return orders processed.Our Returns Clerk works Monday through Friday, 40+ hours per week. Day Shift hours of 730am to 4pm. Weekend overtime opportunities are available during peak Season. Job Summary and Essential Functions:1. Produce Timely Returns ProcessingDaily duties require folding, packing and put away of acceptable returned product.Efficiently pick customer orders for shipmentEfficiently receive customer orders for Returns 2. QualityReceive all orders in a neat orderly manner, troubleshoot issues and resolve questions on returns B. Receive the correct item in the correct quantity ordered 3. Maintain a Safe Work PlaceMaintain a clean, neat and orderly work areaConduct operations in compliance with company safety standards and requirementsConduct operations in a manner that promotes safety 4. Promote Satisfied CustomersEnsure all RA’s are accurately received and returned.Responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filledLabel, tag or mark orders as requested by the customer or routing guide 5. Maintain an Efficient WorkplaceCarry or transport orders to the conveyor or manifesting areaInspect and keep work area neat, orderly and clean at all timesConduct physical inventories (cycle counts) as required 6. Promote Accurate TransactionsEnsure that the correct number and type of product is received and returnedEnsure all special handling instructions are carried out 7. Accurately and neatly adjust inventory and return the correct product to the correct location. Education and Experience:1. At least a high school education or equivalent2. 6 months work experience in warehouse/inventory role.3. Required Computer Skills· Email/Microsoft Outlook· ERP System experience – SAP, Infor or other equivalent system.· Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience, including but not limited to RF scanning and data entry.4.
