System Specialist – Water Filtering Industry

Role Definition

Under general supervision of the President, System Specialist will manage all aspects of Water Filtering in the construction industry. Build, train, supervise and mentor managers to engage employees in a fast paced, productive, and fun work environment. System Specialist will be proactive to oversee an overall cohesive team of cross trained employees able to apply their skills to the necessary workload to properly address the needs of all customers. System Specialist will have a complete understanding of the requirements to manage Managers and Workers in the Water Filtering Industries.

Duties and Responsibilities

Minimum 4 years of Water Filtering Industry experience or equivalent.

Manage daily issues via his frontline managers.

Lead by example to create a calm, industrious and controlled work environment.

Interface with customers as needed to build their confidence the work being performed will be completed properly and on time.

Maintain flexibility to switch gears to assist and manage jobs as the situations dictate.

Maintain good working relationship with all company functional leaders and has working knowledge of both Finance and Sales.

Verify all jobs being completed correctly, on time and at or below budget.

Create a culture of continuous improvement by coaching and mentoring.

Teach and train managers how to assess the job site multiple times a day.

o Scan to confirm previous work was done correctly, if not have it fixed.

o Watch workers to confirm/correct current work is being performed properly.

o Always stay ahead and stage the job site to minimize down time and workers standing around.

Confirm production boards are up to date.

Plan with Managers the schedule of work for current and upcoming weeks.

Review site plans and confirm that managers understand thoroughly.

Communicate with clients for change orders or unforeseen conditions and disseminate internally as appropriate.

Monitor client satisfaction and confirm they are informed of how the work is progressing.

Manager who communicates explicitly and specifically with proper frankness, but always with sincerity and consideration.

Leader whose self-control is equal to all emergencies.

Propose value engineering ideas/value enhancement additions to management.

Manage Labor, Material, Equipment.

o Specifications, Ordering, Pricing.

o Planning, Scheduling, Placement, Supervision.

o Quality, Safety, Productivity/Efficiency.

Have corrective action plans in place to remedy any unsafe conditions in work area and train managers to proactively respond, as necessary.

Safety and Requirements

Confirm all job sites are clean and kept in order.

Confirm all employees operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures.

Verify direct reports have established and are monitoring safety procedures and techniques to perform all job duties.

Confirm daily Job Safety Analysis and communication of the safety requirements to the crew.

o Weekly Tool-box safety meeting with the crew once each week.

Lift moderate to heavy objects up to 40 lbs.
