Our mission is to provide innovative school programs, therapies and training that promote social, emotional, and academic development for children with significant learning and behavioral challenges.

CHILD's program is influenced by the Collaborative and Proactive Solutions Model developed by Dr. Ross Greene, which is driven by the belief that “kids do well if they can.” and is an empathy-driven, non-punitive, psycho-educational approach to solving the problems that are causing concerning behaviors.

CHILD’s programming is immersed in project-based curative curriculum with integrated arts, videography, and outdoor education.

School Custodian:

We are looking for a temporary part-time or full-time custodian. Hours are Monday through Friday. Daily hours are flexible. Salary is $20.00-26.00 DOE

CHILD employs a project-based curative curriculum with integrated arts, music, videography and outdoor education.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

General cleaning of school. Keeping it maintained and in good condition by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing,

and vacuuming.

Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuums hallways and stairs

Inspect all bathrooms for cleanliness and maintenance of supply of toiletries for replenishment of soap, hand

towels, toilet paper, sanitary products, and toilet seat covers.

Floors around toilet fixtures and under urinals should be mopped a minimum of once per day.

Clean bathroom mirrors, wipe down sinks and toilets, and remove dirt, stains, and trash.

Clean interior surfaces of lobby windows, windowsills, railings, and trim.

Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to

floors and fixtures and school requirements

Public areas are to be continually monitored and picked up throughout the day.

Stairs should be swept daily and as needed.

Notify manager of repairs as needed

Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision

Notify manager when cleaning supplies are low

Support Facilities with painting and other repairs as needed

Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Participate in staff meetings, team meetings, and committees as assigned

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk and use hands to

finger, handle, or feel. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or

crawl. The employee will frequently negotiate stairs. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10

pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include

close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
