Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Assistant to join our dynamic Luxury Home Staging company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting all aspects of warehouse unloading, packing, storing, home staging unloading, installing and de staging. This is an active and physically demanding role, perfect for someone who enjoys hard physical work and takes pride in supporting a seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unloading of all warehouse inventory, ensuring items are organized and stored safely.
- Pack and prepare furniture and accessories for transportation to staging sites.
- Efficiently load up to two large box trucks and two cargo vans on a project basis
- Safely transport and unload furniture and accessories at staging locations.
- Install and de-install bed frames, art, and other décor items using drills and other tools.
- Transport furniture and staging materials from the warehouse to staging locations and back to the warehouse, ensuring timely and safe delivery of items.
- Adhere to safe lifting practices and ensure the protection of all items during transportation and installation.
- Collaborate with staging team members to ensure timely and professional setup of staging projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Safely wrap and store furniture to maintain cleanliness and prevent damage, ensuring it remains in pristine condition for future staging projects.
Requirements:
- Experience in logistics, warehouse, moving or a similar role.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including carrying large furniture items.
- Strong understanding of safe lifting practices and the ability to utilize tools such as drills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and follow instructions.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record is necessary.
