Job Title: Window Blind Installer and Repair Technician

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Window Blind Installer and Repair Technician to join our team. As a vital member of our installation and repair crew, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of window blinds for both residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. This job is part-time and can fluctuate between being slow at weeks to having some long days and being really busy. The benefit is it can be really flexible around your schedule!
Responsibilities:
Install a variety of window blinds including, but not limited to, vertical blinds, horizontal blinds, roller shades, and motorized blinds according to specifications and customer preferences.
Repair and replace damaged or malfunctioning blinds components.
Perform on-site measurements to ensure accurate fitting and alignment of blinds.
Troubleshoot issues with blinds operation and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and ensure they are properly cleaned and stored.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and vehicle.
Communicate effectively with customers to address questions or concerns regarding blinds installation and repairs.
Requirements:
Familiarity with hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Comfortable working on a ladder
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Physical ability to lift and carry heavy blinds and equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in window blind installation or repair.
Prior experience in a customer-facing role.
Ability to work flexible hours and weekends as needed.
Knowledge of different types of window blinds and their installation techniques.
Benefits:
Pay based on experience. Range: $18-25/hr
