LITIGATION PARALEGALA stable, downtown Seattle law firm has an immediate opening for a qualified complex litigation paralegal to join their staff. In this full time, permanent position you will support the firm’s attorneys as you work on specific cases involving complex litigation. The firm provides a congenial atmosphere with a dedicated, competent staff. Your duties will include case evaluation, document management/review, record procurement, review and summarization, discovery management, and pre-trial and trial preparation. Strong knowledge of complex litigation issues, document management and experience in dealing with clients, experts and various counsel are all important components of this position. The firm will provide a competitive salary commensurate with your experience and complete benefits. Interviewing, onboarding/training and work is currently 100% remote; however, attendance in the Seattle office will be required when staff return to work.REQUIREMENTS:Legal professionals with a minimum of 8 – 10 years’ complex litigation paralegal experience will be considered. Strong knowledge of local and state rules is required (knowledge of Federal Court rules a plus), along with experience in managing cases from inception through trial. Experience with trial preparation (including preparing trial notebooks, witness reviews, etc.), obtaining and managing records and document management are required. Excellent organizational skills and proven communication skills are essential. Your ability to manage your time effectively, be flexible and use sound judgment in determining priorities are also crucial to your success in this position.
