Gleam Law is a business and intellectual property law firm is Seattle, Washington. While Gleam Law is well known for its work in the cannabis and liquor industry, the firm also works with all types of business in Washington State and throughout the world.
Role Description
Gleam Law is seeking a full time associate to join the firm. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an attorney with at least one year of civil litigation experience and one year of business law or trademark law experience. Additional legal and nonlegal experience is preferred. The role will work with the all three departments and will be trained by the three partners leading each department. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, references, academic credentials, and strong legal writing are required. The position requires a candidate who can work independently on many different matters, manage demands and changing priorities, and enjoy a breadth of different work and clients. The candidate must have strong organizational skills, superior attention to detail, and a desire to work as part of a tight-knit team. Some office attendance is required, as may be necessary for select matters.
Qualifications
Experience with conducting legal research and drafting
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Washington State Bar License is required
We offer a competitive salary and robust bonus structure based on collected hours, health insurance, and a firm-matched IRA. In addition, we offer a generous bonus package based on collected revenue, setting our total compensation package as an industry leader in both pay and work-life balance opportunities. To achieve work-life balance, our target annual billable hours are 1,500. Starting base salary and bonus structure may increase based upon experience and qualifications. More senior attorneys will be considered and compensated appropriately.
