Ridings Residential, a boutique residential remodeling and painting company, requires the expertise and experience of a Project Manager / Interior Designer. We are an established, well-respected business poised for continued growth in an expanding market. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Project Management and how it correlates to Interior Design principles and can transform spaces into functional and aesthetically pleasing, and intentionally personalized environments. This role requires the desire and capacity to understand and enjoy people, collaboration with the teams, contractors and of course, our clients, and ensure that design concepts are executed beautifully and effectively while adhering to project timelines, budgets and our core company principles. As well as researching and presenting material options that align with the project's design vision and budget.
Duties
Procuring quotes and estimates, and ordering and tracking items as needed.
Preparing drawing packages for client projects including interior architectural plans and elevations, construction details, schedules, and furniture drawings.
Work closely with clients to develop design intent schematic drawings into construction documents, making relevant updates and changes to all drawings throughout the course of project development.
3-D Modeling/render
CAD drawings; interior plans and elevations, furniture plan, construction details, sections, schedules and furniture drawings.
Render floor plans, elevations and 2D furniture drawings - making sure perspective renderings and furniture plans are current &; up to date.
Ability to translate strategy and goals into operational tasks.
Appliance & fixture schedules (per project: assistance with organizing and production)
Ability to handle conflict and engage in productive resolution.
Research and development: sourcing material samples, specifications and quotes
Project organization & filing - maintaining organized internal digital files per client
General office tasks; ongoing office &; storage (samples) room organization, miscellaneous packing and shipping assistance, etc.
Ability to listen and use feedback constructively.

The Project Manager/ Interior Designer will support the owner in fulfilling this mission, working in tandem with his work cycle
and standing ready to assist with project management or design elements for projects. This will allow him to free up his time to;
increase his effectiveness and grow the company. Additionally, the PM/ID’s contribution would be better communication between the leadership team, allowing the company to serve more clients, grow in sales, and expand into other markets quickly and easily.
Requirements
AA or BA in Interior Design or related field.
0-3 years of experience
Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal and collaboration skills
Excellent verbal, written communication and graphic skills
Knowledge of CAD and using Sketch Up
Ability to work on multiple projects with different timelines.
Ability to be flexible and to anticipate project needs and direction.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Job Type: Part Time/Full Time possibility:
Expected Hours:
15-36 Hrs./week. This position requires flexibility in schedule to make appointments with clients and to be at the job site when needed for meetings.
Pay:
$35-$45 per Hour
Location:
Greater Bellevue Area, office located north of Bellevue. (North Woodinville)
Partial work from home, partial work from office discussion available.
