Hourly Rates
Level 1: $21/25/hr - $23.61/hr MAX + opt in benefit options
Level 2: $24.00/hr - $25.56/hr MAX + opt in benefit options
Level 3: $28.00/hr - $31.42/hr MAX + opt in benefit options
Hours: Minimum 40/hrs per week, Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm or 7:00am-3:30pm
This is a 3 month contract-2-hire through a staffing agency. If the contract goes well the successful contractors will be converted permanent by the client and join their benefits plan, PTO, and 401k
Job Summary:
Conducts inspections, audits, and documentation of materials, processes, and finished products used in aircraft interior manufacturing. Utilizes both variable and attribute measurement tools and methods to verify that all items meet the company’s established quality requirements.
Summary of Duties:
Performs First Article Inspections (FAI) on newly produced or updated components.
Reviews incoming materials to confirm all required documentation is present and that items meet engineering specifications and purchase order criteria; also carries out in-process checks on parts currently in production.
Examines sub-assemblies incorporated into aircraft interior builds as well as all completed products before they are shipped.
Reads and interprets engineering drawings, along with internal and customer-provided specifications, to verify accurate part production
Job Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Level 1:Any inspection experience, science backgrounds integrate well into the team
Level 2:3+ years experience in inspection within Aerospace, Medical Devices, Automotive, Marine, or other adjacent industries
Level 3: 5+ years working directly with airworthiness certification or return to service documentation including or verifying 8130-3 forms
Other Skills: Requires hands-on experience with precision measurement equipment. Should be able to review and interpret technical diagrams and specifications. Must operate inspection tools—including calipers, micrometers, and measuring tapes—and troubleshoot quality concerns as they arise.
