Delivery Driver Needed
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our busy printing company. You will load company vehicle with orders and deliver them to customer and vendor locations around the local area. Off-loading press skids, pallet wrapping, and organization of delivery paperwork will also be required.
We expect you to be courteous and professional when interacting with customers. Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and be able to list up to 50 pounds. You also must be familiar with the area to ensure you make on-time deliveries.
Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities
Work in tandem with bindery teammates to facilitate product moves from shop floor to customers and vendors in a safe and timely manner.
Load and organize product from the shop/warehouse into vehicle and unload products in and out of the vehicle as needed throughout the day
Ensure paperwork matches delivery requirements
Follow given route instructions for daily deliveries, in a timely manner
Document delivery time and location, and collect signature or documentation if necessary from the recipient client
Keep company vehicle organized, clean and tidy
Maintain truck to ensure it remains in good driving condition
Follow best practices for safety, both on the road and loading/unloading materials.
Communicating with shipping manager and other contacts throughout the day for updates and changes to planned schedule.
Delivery Driver Requirements and Qualifications
Valid driver's license
Good driving record with no moving violations
Proficient at driving and parking large vehicles
Physically fit, able to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably
Experience using hand trucks, pallet jacks, shrink wrappers and forklifts is a plus
