PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES:

Essential Success Factors:

 Leadership in HLA/Box Build Assembly with a deep understanding of medical and aerospace manufacturing standards.

 Expertise in enhancing assembly operations using LEAN principles and ongoing improvement tactics.

Initial 30-90 Days:

 Prioritize key customer relationships to reinforce confidence in process control, team capabilities, and capacity.

 Evaluate and refine process flows.

 Assess team composition and resource needs, focusing on development.

 Lead improvements collaboratively with teams and customers.

Following 90-180 Days:

 Measure the success against benchmarks, specifically reviewing the Aerospace and Industrial sectors.

Principal Duties:

 Play a pivotal role in guiding Qualitel's strategic and organizational direction.

 Independently drive changes and enhancements in manufacturing operations, with complete budget oversight.

 Ensure manufacturing operations are aligned with Qualitel's objectives.

 Lead efforts in standardization and continuous process enhancements to boost efficiency and product quality.

 Foster a developmental environment through coaching, mentoring, and professional growth opportunities for the team.

 Spearhead cost-reduction and efficiency projects, assessing their impact on operations.

 Optimize manufacturing layouts and material flow for peak efficiency.

 Attract, develop, and maintain a high-caliber team committed to innovation and excellence.

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:

 A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field

 Medical Device Manufacturing, Box-build, HLA with 7+ Years electronics and device manufacturing experience

 Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO13485, AS9100, FDA, FAA Repair Station, and Export/Import regulations is essential.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

 Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or a relevant field; a Master’s degree is preferred.

 5+ years of experience in a leadership capacity within HLA / Box Build Assembly operations, especially in the medical and aerospace sectors.

 Familiar with ISO9001, ISO13485, AS9100, FDA, FAA Repair Station, and Export/Import regulations.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Excellence in communication for both technical details and overarching business strategies.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY: To define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Acute analytical abilities to devise and execute strategic decisions effectively.
