Job Description:
The custodian is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning, maintenance, and minor repair tasks to ensure the cleanliness and functionality of the facility. This position contributes to a safe and sanitary environment for employees, visitors, and occupants.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform custodial duties for assigned buildings.
Clean and disinfect restrooms, sinks, and water fountains; replenish tissue, towels, and soap.
Report when supplies are needed.
Maintain regular attendance.
Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust entire office area
Empty trash
Clean restrooms
Maintain parking areas to keep free of trash
Perform other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work is a plus
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment
Ability to follow safety protocols and guidelines
Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment or objects (up to 50 pounds).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
BENEFITS:
Salary range: $18-$20, plus overtime as needed
Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
