Position Overview: As the Lead Contract Analyst, you will be a key player in bridging the gap between customer requirements and manufacturing execution. You will oversee the technical and cost analysis of purchase orders, ensuring that our Tacoma Foundry meets contract specifications seamlessly from initiation to completion. Your expertise will help mitigate risks, streamline processes, and maintain Bradken’s high-quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
Collaborate cross-functionally with Project Management, Operations, Legal, and Sales teams to ensure contract requirements are met without delays.
Act as the lead point of contact for contract reviews and negotiations, ensuring clarity and alignment on all technical specifications.
Mentor and guide team members, delegating tasks effectively to meet project timelines.
Proactively identify and communicate any contract discrepancies, recommending solutions to maintain project integrity and avoid setbacks.
Serve as the primary liaison for external audits and customer interactions, fostering strong relationships and upholding Bradken's reputation for quality.
Monitor requests to the customer for additional information or required prior approvals to avoid manufacturing delays.
Maintain records to support the Quality System and participate in customer, ISO, Military, and ASME audits.
Contract Services Quality Control Responsibilities:
Conduct quarterly quality audits of Contract Services documentation and recommend changes to processes, internal engagement strategies, workforce training, and policies.
Review customer Purchase Orders to ensure compliance with all terms and conditions and ensure that the workforce is trained on DOD contract standards.
Provide guidance and analysis related to DOD contracts and run the contract file audit program.
Act as the Bradken focal point for the Navy’s Supplier Development Fund Program and perform contract administration functions.
Work Planning and Scheduling:
Participate in weekly status meetings and communicate needed actions to avoid schedule delays.
Plan and schedule internal assessments and audits to ensure procedural compliance.
Experience Required:
Minimum two years of experience in technical specification review and industrial manufacturing
Preferred Experience:
Preferred familiarity with ISO, military, ASME, and/or ASTM standards
Three years of experience in engineering drawing and blueprint reading.
Previous experience in steel casting foundries or quality control roles.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; a four-year degree in Material Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience is preferred.
Skills and Knowledge:
Self-starter with attention to detail.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems (Synchro preferred).
Pay Rate: $43.00-$48.00/hour
Location: Tacoma, Washington
On-site Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
