Terrene, Inc. is a fast-growing, full-service laser cutting, laser etching, and laser engraving fabricator servicing Seattle, the Northwest, and the nation. Our company also provides quality steel rule die making, die cutting, metal forming, and other value-added services. We currently have an entry level Manufacturing Shop Assistant position available for an individual looking to grow with our company.

Required Skills:
Ability to work cooperatively with others.
Ability to communicate with coworkers in a friendly and professional manner.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Mechanical aptitude is useful.
Motivated to learn and receive training in the use of CNC laser cutting machines and other shop equipment.
Ability to operate a forklift (training provided).
Basic computer skills.
Willingness and ability to perform various types of manual labor.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
Maintain production schedule by loading and unloading machines in a timely manner.
Perform post-laser cutting processes such as deburring, graining, and packaging.
Perform other shop duties and special projects as assigned.
As you learn the skills of your position, more opportunities will become available to you. Preferring to promote from within the organization, past team members have risen in the company to fill department lead and management positions.
This is a full-time position. Compensation is informed by your experience, and you will receive a 90-day salary review. We offer health insurance, vision insurance, and paid holidays to our full-time team members.
