At RB Enterprises, located in Mukilteo Washington, We are a small machining shop that specialize in high-precision machining for the aerospace industry. We're currently seeking an experienced and hands-on CNC Shop Floor Manager to lead our production floor, ensuring efficiency, quality, and team performance.
Core Responsibilities
Oversee and assign work across CNC machines.
Plan and manage shop floor workflow and production schedules.
Ensure compliance with AS9100 and company quality standards.
Maintain standards and a clean, safe working environment.
Coordinate maintenance and upgrades of facility and equipment.
Drive continuous improvement and resolve production issues.
Work with team to provide accurate machine time and tooling cost estimates.
Assist with programming when needed.
Technical Skills
5–10+ years experience in CNC machining and programming.
Proficient with Mastercam
In-depth understanding of G-code & M-code
Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and set-up documentation.
Capable of troubleshooting, setup, and operating multi-axis CNC mills
Proficient in inspection tools and CMM usage.
Leadership & Management Skills
3–5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting (aerospace preferred).
Able to lead teams, resolve conflicts, and train machinists.
Strong judgment, decision-making, and time management skills.
Strong accountability and problem-solving mindset.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
Lift/move up to 50 lbs; perform repetitive motions; stand/walk for 8+ hour shifts.
Required to wear PPE (steel-toed boots, safety glasses, hearing protection).
